STORY
The picture is a printed fragment of the bigger painting, called “The Guardians of the Kingdom”, depicting six ravens of the Tower of London, who, according to the legend, are keeping our Kingdom safe. This is one of those ravens in flight, passing the famous clocks just above the entrance on the Royal Treasury, where the Crown Jewels are kept.
The flying raven is a symbol of freedom, power and traditions faithfully kept.
The original of this painting was presented to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Her 95th birthday at Buckingham palace, of which Mary Swift has an official letter from Her Majesty.
The print, hand painted over by the artist, will make a beautiful and meaningful interior accent, or a fine unique gift.
